Kindergarten conducted an experiment in which we soaked an egg in water (brushed teeth) and one in soda (teeth that have not been brushed) overnight to show the importance of brushing after meals. The egg in soda was stained brown which showed us that overnight, acids eat away at our enamel and cause cavities if we don't brush. We all had a turn using a toothbrush and toothpaste to brush away the plaque and make the "tooth"  clean and white again! We had so much fun with this!
